Privacy Policy

This page describes how ADC With Mounir Upload handles data. ADC With Mounir Upload is a private tool used only by Mounir Sahrani, the owner of the YouTube channel ADC with Mounir. It uploads the course videos and Shorts Mounir produces to his own channel, fills in their details (title, description, tags, thumbnail, playlist), tracks their publishing progress and publishes their translations.

YouTube API Services

ADC With Mounir Upload uses the YouTube API Services. By using it, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

The tool requests these Google OAuth scopes:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.upload: upload videos and Shorts to the channel, with their title, description and thumbnail
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.force-ssl: list the channel's own videos (title, status, publication date) to track publishing progress, add them to playlists, download their caption tracks, and publish translated titles, descriptions and caption tracks

What data is accessed and why

  • The tool only acts on the YouTube channel of the account that authorized it (Mounir's own channel). It does not access any data about viewers or other YouTube users.
  • It reads the channel's own video list and caption tracks (with their timestamps) in order to: track publishing progress, translate videos, find segments that Mounir cuts from his original source files to create Shorts, and select excerpts of his own content that he posts on his X account.
  • It uploads videos, Shorts, translated titles and descriptions, and translated caption tracks to the channel.

Storage and sharing

  • The tool is operated through the Claude AI assistant (Anthropic). Caption tracks and video details are sent to Claude only to perform the tasks above, under Anthropic's Privacy Policy. They are not used to train AI models.
  • Excerpts of Mounir's own content may be published by him on his own X account.
  • No data is sold, used for advertising, or shared with anyone else.
  • The only stored credential is the authorization token of Mounir's own account, kept in a private environment and never published.
  • The use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Data retention and deletion

  • Caption tracks and video details are kept only as long as needed to complete a task, then deleted.
  • To delete all stored data, revoke access (see below); the stored token is then deleted. Deletion requests can also be sent to adcwithmounir@gmail.com.

Revoking access

Access can be revoked at any time from the Google Account permissions page: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions (or https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions). Once revoked, the tool can no longer access the channel.

This website

This website is a static site hosted on GitHub Pages. It has no account system and no contact form, and it does not collect personal data. GitHub may process technical data (such as IP addresses) to serve the pages, as described in the GitHub Privacy Statement.
